Started around 1990 and thanks to some very insightfull and determined souls (Alice Ramsdell, Frank Ramsdell, Harry Percival, and others) rolling stock was preserved and not scrapped. This enables us to enjoy and cherish these two foot marvels today, and hopefully for generations to come. The WW&F is an operational museum as well as restorational. The track is prisitine and a great example of how the maine lines would have been in their glory days.
